After relatively humble beginnings in rural Alabama and as a US Army officer, Mr. Whatley began his financial career in New York in investment banking focused on private equity at Credit Suisse First Boston and CIBC World Markets. These experiences shaped his analytical discipline, ability to balance risk and reward, and appreciation for thoughtful capital structuring.
For the past seventeen years, he has been based in Seattle, investing in private equity opportunities with a focus on industrial technology companies across the United States.
